Jane WoolseyJane Woolsey, CPO© (Certified Professional Organizer), Former POC President, 2009 Harold Taylor Award recipient (which recognizes an individual’s contribution to the organizing industry), Avery Dennison Canada spokesperson and an organizing professional for almost 10 years knows what it takes to be successful in this industry!

As the President of ProfessionalOrganizers.com and Productivity Squared, she is excited to provide an exceptional level of education through her Comprehensive Training Program and her Continuing Education webinars. Jane believes that education is key to any successful business. She is passionate about helping others achieve their dreams through effective and practical training and education programs. Prior to launching her own businesses Jane held Senior Management Administrative positions in a number of corporate financial institutions.  She specialized in the areas of development & execution of strategic operational plans, re-structuring of business units, processes and project management. One of Jane's other companies, NADUM www.nadum.com, offers a number of corporate training programs including Facilitation and Managing Effective Meetings.

Some of her media appearances include CBC National Morning News, CTV Newsnet, CTV Noon news, Globe & Mail, Toronto Star, Rogers  Cable and Reader's Digest.  In her spare time, Jane also still enjoys organizing in both the business and residential markets.

Jane Veldhoven, Certified Professional Organizer®

Jane is a dynamic facilitator for Productivity Squared Inc. in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and owner of her own successful company, Get Organized! Professional Services. She is truly a leader in her profession. She was the first hands-on professional organizer in Atlantic Canada when she joined Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) and started her business in 2002.

Through extensive study and experience she was designated a Certified Professional Organizer® in January of 2008, one of only a handful of organizers in Canada. Jane specializes in training and one-on-one consulting in the business environment as well as home office design.  Jane helps entrepreneurs, managers and other busy professionals become more successful by teaching them to take control of their e-mail inbox, regain clarity by reducing the piles on their desk, and make more money by using their time more productively. 

She writes a regular bi-weekly column for the Homes section of The Chronicle Herald called ‘Streamline Your Stuff’. She also enjoys design and decorating and has worked with several clients on home office re-design projects as well as a 50’s inspired den and even a bathroom re-do!   Jane regularly volunteers for many charities including Junior Achievement, Kids Help Phone, The United Way, Dress for Success and many more.   In addition, Jane served on the National Board of Directors for POC for two years and is a founding member of the Nova Scotia Chapter. She has been a tele-class facilitator for POC for over three years. 

Joel-Marc Golberg

Joel-Marc specializes in general administration for entrepreneurs, small-offices/home-offices (SOHO), and small businesses. His office organizing services include evaluating office set-up in order to minimize the time and energy needed to perform tasks, creating paper and electronic filing systems, space planning, and workflow.

He also coaches busy business people in time management, delegation, and goal setting skills, as well as providing seminars and “Lunch-n-Learns”.

Joel-Marc is a founding member and past-chair of the Montreal chapter of Professional Organizers in Canada, is a P.O.C. Silver Leaf Member, and is currently serving as National Director of Special Projects on P.O.C.'s national board of directors. He has appeared in articles in The Montreal Gazette and La Presse newspapers, the National Post, as well as Les Affaires, a French business daily and Style at Home magazine.

As the facilitator of the Comprehensive Training Program for Professional Organizers in Eastern Ontario and Quebec, and owner of the JGAP Group since 1993, Joel-Marc's relentless knowledge and energy inspires all who attend his seminars. 

Morva Bowman

 Morva established Masters of Space and Time in Winnipeg in 2001 with the aim of helping people to gain control over their lives, reduce stress and make clients more effective in both their professional and personal lives. She has worked with business clients of all sizes from home office to major corporations. Since 2008 Morva has specialized in seminars and keynotes on time management, electronic and paper information flow and filing systems. 

Morva has a background in management and holds an MBA from the University of Manitoba. A member of Professional Organizers in Canada since 2001, Morva was instrumental in establishing their education program, as well as the Western Canada and Cyber Chapters of POC. She served two terms on the National Board and in 2006 received the Harold Taylor Award for contributions to the profession of organizing. Morva is also a member of CAPS, the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, and serves on the board of CAPS Winnipeg.  

A very practical and humorous speaker, Morva brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the organizing profession to her role as CTP facilitator. 

Soraiya Kara

Soraiya KaraSoraiya Kara established POSabilities Personal Organizing in 1998 and, before that, worked for several years in marketing and client services in the financial planning field. Soraiya was one of the first Professional Organizers in the Vancouver area and assisted to establish the POC BC Chapter. Soraiya is currently the Chapter Chair and Past Director of Membership for the National POC Board.

She has spent much time volunteering in her community. Her experience includes developing programs and working with educational and health groups on such issues as family violence, youth health, substance abuse, and social welfare and security. She has also worked on the community crisis line and as an education board convener.

Soraiya majored in psychology at Simon Fraser University and studied business and marketing at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Her education, coupled with her experience in client service, marketing, and the financial planning field provide an excellent foundation for her work as a Professional Organizer.

Soraiya specializes in working with residential clients as well as entrepreneurs and home based businesses and seems to always incorporate humor into her work. Speaking and educating comes naturally as she admits that she is not an auditory learner and therefore incorporates many tactics to keep her audience stimulated and engaged. Empowering others is a goal and passion for Soraiya and this continues to be met through her Professional Organizing business.

Lynda PalazziLynda Palazzi dreams of organization.  Although she always feels behind, way behind, organizational perfection, whatever that may look like, it is still one of her favorite aspirations.  After a lifetime of leadership in both the private and public sectors, Lynda understands that organization is one of the few strategies available to all of us, both personally and professionally, that allows us to manage increasingly complex lives.

She has been an organizer living with celiac disease and uses her experiences to help people transition to an organized gluten-free lifestyle.

 Marion Coomey

Marion has been a media coach and trainer since 1992 and has been teaching for 18 years.  She is a Professor with the School of Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson University in Toronto.  She teaches Media Writing, On Air Presentation Skills and Documentary Production.  Marion has worked with large corporations, small businesses and media clients on developing their skills dealing with the media. Marion is a reporter, producer and newsreader for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. She offers small group and one to one training. Barry Izsak

Barry Izsak, Certified Professional Organizer®, and founder of ARRANGING IT ALL™ in Austin, Texas, has been helping corporate and residential clients nationwide get organized since 1996. He is the author of Organize Your Garage in No Time (Que, 2005) and co-author of Exploring Productivity (Dawson, 2006). Debra Milne, Certified Professional Organizer®

Debra is a Certified Professional Organizer® and former owner of ProfessionalOrganizers.com who has been streamlining environments and simplifying lives for many years.   Before retiring, Debra had been in business for over 10 years.  She is a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), a Silver Leaf member, and past Vice President, of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC).  Debra is also the past POC Durham Chapter Chair and recipient of the 2007 Harold Taylor Award (Founders Award).  Debra is also the recipient of Durham's DHSBA's 2000 Business of the Year Award.

Michael has been involved in Records and Information Management consulting for over 20 years.  He is one of the most respected international experts in traditional and emerging forms of information technology. He is currently President of The Information Professionals.  His company provides consulting services to clients at all levels of government and all industry sectors. Alan Pollard - Masters of Space and Time Winnipeg, Manitoba

Alan received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba in 1976 and stays involved with the faculty as an external thesis examiner and industry representative on selection committees. He has 33 years experience in telecommunications, web and database development, data security and computer forensics. During his career he developed several patents in the field of data security. Alan is a Past-President of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of Manitoba, the provincial licensing body for Engineers, and currently sits on their Investigation Committee. He has been a speaker at the Pacific Legal Technology Conference and has presented on-line for Professional Organizers in Canada. He is an associate member of the American Bar Association as well as an active participant with local and national technology organizations.

Gail and Karen are Move Organizers Extraordinaire and co-founders of Downsizing Diva!. They are successful Professional Organizers, Certified Senior Advisors and Senior Move Managers.
